"All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind,

because oneness is the secret of everything."

Strength, Space & Confidence

Prenatal yoga is designed to make space in the body, make space in the mind and prepare you for the journey through pregnancy, delivery and motherhood. My classes focus on building strength and stamina in the physical body and connecting to our individual and collective wisdom as women.  Learn More about Prenatal Yoga.

Postnatal Yoga
Recover, Rebuild & Reconnect

My postnatal yoga class is uniquely suited for the postnatal body recovering from pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the demands of transitioning to motherhood. The class focuses on and teaches breath work to increase energy, aid in processing strong emotions and engages the parasympathetic nervous system. We also include pelvic floor and deep abdominal strengthening. Learn More about Postnatal Yoga.

Hatha Yoga
Preparation & Purification

The Hatha Yoga System is presented as the preparatory stage and work done for physical purification that the body practices for higher meditation, or Raja Yoga. It comprises of asana, breathing and introductory meditation techniques used to bring your focus and energy inward — from controlling the body and breath, moving toward controlling the senses and eventually the mind. Hatha yoga encourages a healthy lifestyle both on and off the mat.

Gentle Yoga
Mindful, Centered & Grounded

My gentle classes focus on tuning out the stresses and distractions of every day life and tuning in to your body, breath and inner wisdom. These classes offer a slower paced, alignment based practice that not only help you build strength and flexibility, but help connect you to your breath and encourage stillness in the mind.

Restorative Yoga
Rest, Relax & Rejuvenate

"Restorative yoga is the use of props to support a person in positions of comfort and ease to facilitate relaxation and health." (Judith Hanson Lasater)  My restorative class is taught in the classic style I learned from my teacher. Usually four to six poses total, held for long periods of time to allow for complete relaxation.

Kid's Yoga
Confidence, Focus & Fun

My kid's yoga classes are centered around real yoga poses, structured in a creative and fun atmosphere. It enhances flexibility of the body and mind, refines balance and coordination, develops focus and concentration, and cultivates the start of a solid mind-body connection. This non-competitive atmosphere encourages self-expression thus boosting confidence and self-esteem. (And we always end with a YOGA DANCE PARTY!)
